What is Hemp?

Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis plant that contains less than 0.3% THC. Some people confuse hemp with marijuana, and while they come from the same Cannabis family, they have different classifications with different results and reactions in the human body. Think of hemp vs. Marijuana like you would oranges vs. lemons. Both are citrus, but one has a sweeter profile, while the other is sour. Each one has different usages and profiles. Hemp is most commonly known for its commercial uses like clothing, body care, and food (i.e. hemp seed hearts) and with the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, it is no longer considered to be a controlled substance, though Marijuana still remains federally illegal. The main difference between hemp with Marijuana comes from the THC content (the psychoactive part of Marijuana that gets you high). By law, hemp extract must contain less than 0.3% THC (some plants have up to 30% THC).

About Our Flavors

Terpenes are naturally occurring chemical compounds responsible for the scents, flavors, and colors of plants and even some animals. Manufacturers use terpenes in products like perfumes and foods to help create certain flavors or smells. When it comes to cannabis, terpenes are what cause strains to have a certain taste or smell that is distinguishable from others. The cannabis plant contains over 150 different types of terpenes. Some research suggests that terpenes can enhance the effects of CBD and THC. This is referred to as the entourage effect. This is why we use Full Spectrum CBD in our CBD products like our gummies and oils. As the cannabis industry has grown, so has the research surrounding terpenes. Potential benefits of terpenes include reducing inflammation, enhancing memory, decreasing anxiety, and improving sleep.

Sativa strains are well known for uplifting mood and energy levels. They may make you feel more energized, productive, and creatively inspired. These strains may have a stimulating impact, so they are better suited for daytime use compared to the calming Indica strains. Some of our Sativa strains include Delta 8 Durban Poison, HHC Grape Ganja, and XXXL Green Crack. Indica strains are known for relaxation and reducing anxiety. They may make you feel peaceful, introspective, or even sleepy. These strains tend to be better for nighttime use due to their possible deep calming effects. Some of our Indica strains include Delta 8 Bubba Kush, HHC Grapefruit Phatty, and XXXL Purple Prim8. Hybrid strains are a mix of Sativa and Indica strains. These allow you to get the best of both worlds. Some Hybrid strains are balanced while others may be more Sativa dominant or Indica dominant. Some of our Hybrid strains include Delta 8 Pineapple Express, HHC Tropical Zkittles, and XXXL White Widow.
